What if I can't make every live class?
Each live class will be recorded and uploaded to the session module. Each enrollee will have access to the power point slides and all course material.
How do nurses order labs within their scope of practice?
Through partnerships with functional medicine laboratories. nurses have the option to order labs under the physician network using affordable wholesale pricing. Nurses use diagnostic labs to educate their clients about possible deficiencies and dysfunction in the body and collaborate with their healthcare team to improve health outcomes.
Do I need to be advanced practice to attend this course?
This course is open to nurses of all levels including LPNs, ADN, BSN and NP. If you are a NP you can order labs under your NPI, if you are not advanced practice your lab orders will require a physicians signature on the requisition forms which will be provided by the partnering functional laboratory. Instruction on setting up your functional laboratory account will be provided.
Do I have access to the practitioner toolkit and other course materials after the course is completed?
All enrollees will have lifetime access to all course materials.
